Outdoor Recreation Trail+
Dona Ana County
$51,000

The program intends to extend an 890 linear feet multi-use trail at the Columbia Elementary School, marking phase 3 of a broader trail construction in Doña Ana county. This addition will not only create safer, more inclusive pedestrian and cycling paths that intersect with three schools but also promote recreational opportunities and improved access to historic, cultural, and economic centers. By connecting urban and rural areas, this trail network ultimately contributes to enhanced community excitement about multimodal infrastructure and recreational facilities, which have been traditionally limited in this region.

Total Grants Awarded: $51,000
