Cibola County
$90,450

The proposed Ancient Path trail project aims to bridge the El Morro business district and El Morro National Monument through a multi-use trail designed for public enjoyment and education. The 7100 ft. trail, a combination of private property and public land, will include rest areas, art installations, information stations, and a bike rack, thus offering an alternative, more scenic route to the monument while alleviating traffic congestion on the highway. Plus, the trail aims to provide a potential venue for educational programs and youth activities.
