The Outdoor Adventure program offers transformative outdoor experiences for youths, prioritizing underserved communities, and focusing on promoting character and intellectual development. By providing guidance from qualified mentors, the program allows students to acquire life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and decision-making, while boosting civic participation and local community commitment. The program also equips youth with practical knowledge on environmental stewardship and survival skills, reinforcing this through hands-on activities like tubing, hiking, and identifying natural elements. The effectiveness of the initiative is evaluated through pre/post-staff and student surveys, youth anecdotes, attendance, and knowledge tests.
