The NMOHVA project seeks to reduce conflicts between grazing permit holders and off-highway vehicle (OHV) users on public lands in New Mexico through improved gate management and targeted educational initiatives. By fostering better understanding and proper usage of designated routes, the program aims to enhance coexistence among diverse land users, ultimately benefiting both participants and the local community. If successful, this model can be replicated in other districts to promote sustainable land use.
