The Boys & Girls Clubs of Chaves & Lincoln Counties’ Outdoor Discovery & Conservation Program will enrich 100–120 local youth annually with outdoor activities, focusing on boosting confidence, leadership, and environmental stewardship. Offering hands-on adventures, the program strives to build practical life skills and introduces participants to diverse ecosystems, native species, and conservation principles. Participants will engage in various activities like fishing, archery, and media documentation while assimilating ethical outdoor practices, honing problem-solving abilities, and fostering a deep-rooted love for the outdoors.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Chaves and Lincoln Counties (BGCCLC) have been providing after-school and out of school programs to youth since 2009 with a mission To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens of good character. BGCCLC is a 501c3 nonprofit with primary funding from New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department, partnerships with local governments, Foundation and Trust grants, along with individual and business donations. This year, we are opening additional locations in Roswell and Hagerman to meet the needs of more underserved youth in our communities.
