The Six-Mile Improvement Project by CEHMM is designed to enhance outdoor recreation and deepen community appreciation for nature in Carlsbad. By improving a 1.5-mile stretch of road and developing eight picnic sites, the project will increase accessibility and promote habitat restoration through road closures, while also addressing erosion issues with control structures. Ultimately, these efforts will foster a healthier environment and a more engaged local community.
