Additionally, the program will provide accessible parking spaces in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and install bike racks at public buildings, promoting greater community engagement and outdoor activities.

Project Title: A Comprehensive Public Access / All Abilities Recreational Development Plan for Lybertee Park in Bloomfield, NM. Problem Statement: Lybertee Park, a 110-acre designated park space in Bloomfield, NM has had minimal development. A strategy is needed to create an integrated, multi-use and all abilities recreational area that comprehensively addresses recreation inclusiveness and public access for different segments of the population. Approach: Development of a multiuse design and implementation phased plan is the first in the development and implementation of Lybertee Park to solve the problem stated above. Results: A multi-use all abilities plan will be designed, developed and implemented in phases that are focused on an integrated trails system that creates access for diverse segments of the population to enjoy access to outdoor recreational activities. Problem Conclusion: An integrated and multiuse trail system will be designed and developed in phases to create a recreation area that creates public access to outdoor recreational activities for and inclusive population.
