Since 2005, Aldo Leopold Charter School has provided engaging outdoor experiences to enliven curricular learning, develop a love of place and an understanding of human impacts overtime. Serving 6-12th graders from culturally and economically diverse backgrounds, our goal is to engage students in the wild and in the co-creation of a sustainable future. Through our backpacking trips, grade-level trips, community restoration projects, Youth Conservation Corps program, and Friday community experiences, students come to understand themselves, each other, the community, and their potential in a rapidly changing world. Our experiential education coordinator is the key to making this programming possible.
