The project seeks to develop a comprehensive map of hiking trails in the Mora area and enhance geocaching sites, improving access to outdoor spaces for both locals and visitors. The trail map will be accessible on our website, ourmora.org, and through a digital visitor's kiosk in the town center, fostering community engagement and promoting local tourism.
This camp engages the youth of Mora with the region's natural resources and promotes exploration of higher education and career opportunities in related fields. Conducted in diverse outdoor settings, the program fosters an understanding of local ecosystems while encouraging participants to consider future careers in the outdoor industry, ultimately enhancing their connection to nature and the community.
The goal of this project is to create a map of hiking trails in the Mora area, as well as add more geocaching sites in our county. This will help locals and visitors alike to more easily access our outdoor spaces.
