The Adventure Pitch Fest is an annual competition hosted by ORD in partnership with ActivateNM. Designed to support and elevate New Mexico-based outdoor recreation businesses, this event provides entrepreneurs with the opportunity to showcase their brand, network with investors, retailers, and consumers, and pitch their innovative business ideas to a panel of industry experts. Businesses can apply to showcase and have the option to also apply for the fast-paced pitch battle competition for $15,000 in cash prizes!

Adventure Pitch Fest 2025 will take place on Thursday, November 6 at at Rail Yards in Albuquerque and will be a standalone event, free and open to the public.

The past three years, Adventure Pitch has taken place during the New Mexico Outdoor Economics Conference, one of the state’s leading events focused on the outdoor economy. Selected finalists presented five-minute pitches, competing for cash prizes totaling $15,000: $10,000 for first place, $3,000 for second, and $2,000 for third. Beyond financial support, participants gain valuable exposure, networking opportunities, and complimentary access to the conference, including booth space at the expo to showcase their ventures.

Past finalists have represented a wide range of outdoor-focused businesses, from sustainable product innovations to technology solutions enhancing outdoor experiences. ORD is committed to supporting businesses that contribute to outdoor recreation, conservation, and economic development.
