At Collins Lake Ranch in the Mora Valley, outdoor education means more than getting outside for the day. The ranch is becoming a place where young people and families can camp, kayak, learn about the natural world and experience the outdoors in ways that work for them. Outdoor Equity Fund support has helped bring adaptive camping and family programs to people with disabilities, while Trails+ investments are helping the ranch build out the learning spaces and trails and improving fire protections. Together, these investments are helping Collins Lake grow into an accessible outdoor learning destination for families and youth of all abilities.
